Every year, we have to do it. Whether you are a die-hard, mistletoe-snorting, holly, jolly, Santa-tracking, decorations-in-October kind of Christmas freak or the Grinch-doesn’t-cut-it type of naysayer, you still have to consider all the people in your life and what you will do for each other. You’ll need to find gifts and probably have a few things in mind you hope people know to get you. Here at ECS, we have people all over the board when it comes to holiday cheer, but we also know just how important it is to have something for every level of holiday interest. That’s why we decided to put together this list to help give you some ideas for the friends and family in your life, as well as give you an easy link to send the folks you’re dropping those hints to when it comes to your own gifts. So here is an easy list that will satisfy anyone from car enthusiasts, Christmas, enthusiasts, or total Scrooges.

Schwaben 203-Piece Zippered Tool Bag Set

This ready to go extensive tool bag and kit offers everything the new DIYer would need. Honestly, for those of you who are like me, this is the easiest solution to replacing everything you may have lost or broken over the last few years and will give you a great starting point for any projects you tackle this coming year. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. The bag is convenient, holds everything, offers some organization you may need, and is something you can always carry with you if you need a travel set. This is perfect for even someone in your life who isn’t a car enthusiast but still important enough to you to justify the price.

Schwaben 46-piece 1/4” Drive Set

A little less pricey, but still useful for anyone, is the drive set that includes everything you need to work on anything metric. A new ratchet, extensions, bits, drives, and a convenient case makes this an essential part of any DIYer’s garage. I’ll be picking up a set myself to reinforce my socket collection. You can never have too many duplicates, especially when working on something that requires two of the same socket.

Schwaben Fluid Extractor

The easiest way to change your oil (with a top-mount filter engine) is with our Schwaben Fluid Extractor. Even if you aren’t an enthusiast or a European car owner, this is still an excellent gift for any Dad who prefers to change their own oil at home. It’s cheap, it’s effective, it helps you get the job done correctly and easily. Not only that, but you can upgrade to the vacuum operated version and make it even less of an effort by having your air compressor do all the work for you.

Bremmen

This is a bit more specific for individual owners, but Bremmen floor mats are a perfect choice for anyone who needs that finishing touch for their interior. Floor mats go through abuse and worn-out mats can detract from the interior look and feel. With a high-quality set that protects your car’s interior quality, these Bremmen Rubber All-Weather Mats are perfect stocking stuffers or a great idea for something you can tell a friend or family member who wants to get you something but doesn’t want to get you something generic. Bremmen also has tons of other interior options, like head units, that make excellent gifts.

WeatherTech

In the very specific arena, WeatherTech floor mats are an excellent way to protect your carpet and interior with incredibly well-made, high-quality, durable, and perfect fitting set of all-weather mats. While they are more expensive and definitely not OEM-style, they are a great choice to keep your interior protected from the elements.

Protecta socket

Speaking of protection, another easy stocking-stuffer idea for anyone who cares about their wheels are the Protecta socket sets. These sockets have a plastic exterior sheath that won’t mar, scratch, or damage wheels when you install the lugs and are extended so you can easily reach them with a driver, even on dished or concave wheel faces.

Titanium lugs/studs/bolts

Along the same lines as the protecta socket set, our Titanium lug nuts and lug bolts are lightweight, attractive, and durable options for replacing your bolts or nuts. They do offer some performance benefits, as they reduce unsprung weight, but mostly, they just look fantastic and replace old, worn-out versions, which you should do if you remove your wheels often.

Gift Cards

Finally, if you don’t know what to get someone, or don’t have a lot of confidence they’ll buy the right parts for you, we have gift card options that make it easy for them to buy something with your money (or you buy something with theirs). It might be a bit of a cop-out to go with a gift card, but the beauty is you can slide them in a holiday card, tackle a bunch of gifts giving at once, and no one feels like they weren’t as preferred as someone who got a more personalized gift. You can do the virtual gift card for the easiest solution and add anywhere from $5 to $1,000!
