Adding a Euro-Headlight Switch to your BMW F10 enables the rear fog lamps already installed at the factory.

No extra wiring is needed. There are no light assemblies to install. No coding is required.

Installation is fast and easy; plug-and- play.

Required tools? Just a plastic non- marring trim removal tool and a T20 Torx® screwdriver.

Let’s dive in.

Installation:

Step 1: Remove the dash panel

Insert the plastic trim tool behind the left edge of the dash panel containing the headlight switch.

Pry the panel away from the dash about 1⁄2 inch.

Step 2:

Using a flat trim removal tool, pry at the opposite side of the dash panel.

Pry the panel away from the dash about 1⁄2 inch.

Grab the switch on both ends and pull the dash panel with headlight switch from the dash.

Disconnect the old switch

Flip the dash panel over and unplug the electrical connector from the rear of the original headlight switch.

Remove the old switch

Using a T20 Torx screwdriver, remove the screws holding the switch in the dash panel.

Install the new switch

The Euro switch is an exact t replacement.

It looks identical to the original switch, except for the added fog lamp functions.

Insert the new switch into the opening in the dash panel.

Reinstall and hand tighten the four Torx screws (arrows).

Plug in the electrical connector.

Step 1: Reinstall the dash panel

Align the tabs on the rear of the dash panel (arrows) with the mating, rectangular holes in the dash.

Step 2:

To reinstall the dash panel with the switch, press evenly on the face of the dash panel until the retainer clips snap in place in the main dash- board.

Your new Euro-switch is now ready to use, and your rear fogs will work.
