ECS Tuning and 034Motorsport Presents: B8.5 Sweepstakes Update

I bet you’re sitting there thinking ‘hey, what’s up with that B8.5 S4 ECS is giving away?’ Well, if you are, settle in because we’ve been busy. For those of you living under a rock, we’re giving away a B8.5 S4 to one of our customers. Every $25 spent here is an entry, so all those upgrades and maintenance parts you were already going to buy could be the best purchase you ever made. Since, you know, it might come with a free car or whatever. Anyway, our awesome partners have sent us a bunch of the parts we’re throwing at this B8.5 S4, so we’ve been hard at work here installing everything.

First things first, before we upgraded anything, we took care of ALL the basic maintenance. The stuff any intelligent enthusiast would do with a new-to-them car. LIQUI MOLY oil, ceratec, injector cleaner, and all their delicious additives found their way into the S4 along with brand new Hengst filters all around. The transmission, differential, and supercharger didn’t get left out, either.

After all the fluid and filter maintenance, we put some lovely coilovers supplied by KW Suspension on all four corners, which will help keep the S4 grounded through the corners. Oh, and looking epic on the Rotiform wheels with their retro-throwback Aerodiscs helping us get the look we’re going for.

With the wheels and suspension sorted (thanks Rotiform and Tiresource!) we added some big stoppers to this thing. The new standard in the big brake game, StopTech, was kind enough to supply us with their big brake kit paired with HAWK Performance pads to do the actual biting. These are some serious brake and suspension upgrades, which are important to have considering how much power we plan on putting down in this thing.

Oh yes, we aren’t just ‘suspension and wheels is a build’ folks. We’re putting the 034Motorsport catalog at this B8.5 S4 as well as a bunch of our own in-house goodies before we throw the S4 on the dyno and see if we can put down some serious power. With all this power, it’s critical that we have all the suspension and brakes sorted, which is why we started there.
