The ECS Tuning Brushed Stainless Steel Hood Strut provides your vehicle with a high quality, visually attractive replacement for enhanced under hood appeal and long lasting, dependable operation. Made in the U.S.A., the brushed stainless body with machined ball sockets and hard chrome piston rod eliminate the boring OE hood strut in favor of a visual upgrade to compliment other aftermarket parts.

Developed in house as an alternative aftermarket replacement/upgrade hood strut. It features a brushed finish, 316 stainless steel body with billet machined and zinc-coated steel ball socket ends that include new carbon steel zinc-coated securing clips and arrive pre-greased ready for installation. The micro-crack hard chrome plated piston rod ensures consistent lubricity that reduces friction and prolongs wear life and is corrosion resistant as well as visually appealing.

Hood drop height is raised slightly over the OE strut which allows for easier hood opening and hood closing operations.
