Taylor’s Story:

My APR tuned Stage 2+ 2012 Volkswagen Golf R is built to be a daily-driven car that can have its throttle hammered on the track and be able to take a comfortable, leisurely cruise all at the same time; my goal is to balance the fine line between performance and not ruining daily drivability. My car screams my personality with all the go-fast upgrades that are hidden under the hood to put down 317hp/361lbft at the wheels.
To handle the power my Golf R makes, I’ve put a large focus on suspension and braking. With StopTech’s ST40 Trophy big brake kit, Bilstein PSS-10 coilovers, the newly released Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires mounted on lightweight, fully-forged Volk Racing G25 wheels, SuperPro control arms, NEUSPEED sway bars, and SuperPro ball joints, my car handles like a beast. There are a bunch of other supporting modifications to help better complete the build.
