These past twelve months, we at ECS Tuning have made increasing efforts to engage with our local community. Recently, we reinstated our ‘Will-Call’ pick up option for locals who want to pick up their parts in person as soon as they are boxed. Additionally, we have had the extreme pleasure to take part in several local events and shows. Most recently, a few of us joined Audi Bahn, a local Audi group for their new event, the “Valley Rally” here in Ohio.
Local enthusiasts are the bread and butter of our business and have been since 1962 when we began as a humble VW repair shop just up the road from our current facility. When Ben and the AB guys invited us, we couldn’t help but join in for some spirited driving through the valley in some Audis.
The cruise began in the Fairlawn area before the group took off for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The drive included stops for some obligatory photo opportunities and car talk before they finally arrived at the Market Garden Brewery in Ohio City. The group enjoyed lunch and beverages together over the camaraderie shared in their common love for cars while our ECS crew handed out stickers, lanyards, plate frames, and raffled off some gift cards for the site.
Thanks to Ben and the guys at Audi Bahn for hosting such a wonderful event and providing an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts to come together for the common purpose of driving our cars together. There is nothing like a cruise with old and new friends caravanning to one spot after another just enjoying the drive. We certainly look forward to more events like the Valley Rally and can’t wait to participate in them all!
