Our B8.5 S4 sweepstakes car is making productive headway as we approach the end of this fun little venture. If you haven’t been following along, we’re giving away this B8.5 S4 built in-house by our expert R&D team with help from a fantastic list of partners. Every $25 you spend here at ECS is an automatic entry for a chance to be the lucky winner who takes it home. So what have we done so far?
Thanks to the wonderful partners who have contributed to this build, we’ve thrown all the best upgrades you know and love at this platform along with some brand-new performance parts made specifically for this build that will hit the market sometime shortly. The partners are:
Tiresource
With that list of vendors, you can probably guess what we’ve thrown at this car, along with several of our own in-house products and finished in a custom one-off livery drafted by our talented graphic design department.
Before we began modifying everything, we ran through the engine, transmission, and fuel system with LIQUI MOLY oils and additives. Our Billet Aluminum Oil Cap and Oil Filter Housing Cap found their way onto the 3.0T as well, replacing the plastic caps that were equipped originally. These will both look better and last much longer than that brittle plastic. To filter everything, Hengst Filtration supplied us with all the fresh new filters this S4 will need to stay happy and healthy for a long time to come.
New OE ignition coils and NGK spark plugs supply the S4 with consistent ignition, we flushed and replaced the cooling system with fresh coolant, and even replaced the wiper blades, just so everything is brand new.
In the suspension department, a full Meyle HD control arm kit, our ECS Tuning Rear Control Arm Brace, and strut bars keep everything fresh and stiff. Doing the damping and bringing the big executive sedan down to the ground is a set of KW V3 Coilovers for that perfect fit and finish.
Rounding off the suspension, 034Motorsport provided their Density Line upper strut mounts, front and rear sway bars, end links, Billet Front Strut Brace, Billet X-Brace, and subframe mount kit. With all of these improvements, the S4 will be able to handle the corners as well as it dominates in straight-line performance. No weak points here, folks.
For the drivetrain, 034Motorsport supplied us with their Track Density Line engine mounts along with a host of other upgrades like their Intake, Throttle Body, ECU, and DSG tunes, Supercharger Crank Pulley Upgrade, bleeder screw kit, Supercharger Pulley Upgrade, Heat Exchanger, and our ECS catch can will keep all the air going through the intake contaminant-free for cleaner engine operation.
To do the stopping, StopTech supplied us with their Front and Rear Big Brake Kit with rotors. Clamping those massive rotors are a set of HAWK Performance pads. Feeding the brake calipers in the front is a set of StopTech braided lines and the rear features a set of our Stainless Steel Exact-Fit brake lines pushing StopTech brake fluid for the absolute best pedal feel and brake performance.
Adorning the body is our host of visual upgrades in the new Gloss Black version. Our Front Lip Spoiler, Side Blade Extensions, Rear Diffuser, and Rear Spoiler give the Audi’s body a more aggressive appearance for that striking presence it rightly deserves.
Lastly, rounding things off (literally) Rotiform supplied us with a set of their BUC-M wheels in 19×8.5 et35 covered in their brand new Aerodiscs. The final touch was our in-house designed ‘vintage’ Audi Motorsport wrap installed by Scotty from The Worth that gives the whole package a similar vibe to the IMSA Audi 90 GTO. Ideally, this one will be just as unfair to all the other cars as that famous motorsport legend.

So there you have it! The S4 is nearly complete with all these parts. Fortunately, you still have some time to enter while we finish everything up here. We still have a few more parts to throw at it, but the end is now in sight. Remember, every $25 spent at ECS on anything you need is an entry, but you only have until Oct 19th! I didn’t see any final drawing done in your FB page. Is this sweepstake legit???
Hi there, yes it is ‘legit’ but because of the laws surrounding sweepstakes, we are required to host this with a third-party company that handles the actual data collection and random drawing. The three winners have been selected by that company and are being notified. they must accept the potential prize and confirm with that hosting company per federal law since taxes are involved. Once they have confirmed, we are given those names to conduct the final drawing here. Unfortunately, if they are unreachable or decline, then the hosting company has to select another potential winner. While ideally we would have this happen on the date we initially intended to conduct the drawing, if the winners take longer to respond or decline the prizes, we have to wait until winners who accept them have been contacted and confirm it. TL:DR, it’s up to the winners as to when the drawing happens between the three of them.
